Sense and Sensibility Book Club

Celebrating the 200th year since Jane Austin published Sense and Sensibility.

I have just completed reading the Real Reads Adaption for 9-12 year olds and I must say that I enjoyed it immensily. My daughter and I have read the first 28 pages together. She is ten years old. She loves the illustrations in the book. We planned to stop at page 20 but when she looked at a picture a few pages on she wanted to read more.

It is providing a great opportunity for her to learn new words and for us to discuss relationships.

Which Character are You? Sense and Sensibility

My Result: Marianne Dashwood
on quiz: Sense and Sensibility personality/character quiz

You are a "free spirit." You have your opinions and want them to be known, but do not deem it necessary to be rude to do so. Sometimes your ideas coicide with those of the people closest to you, and you are rebuked for it. You are not always open to these suggestions, but when you are truly aware that your actions are wrong, you are eager to reconcile and change your ways.
